I have a Fender Roc Pro 1000. I would like to use my 4 ohm line out driver to my speaker cabinet.
1. I have 4(8 ohm) speakers and if i wire them in parallel I will have only 2 ohms.
2. My amp to speaker cable is rated 2 ohms ,will this configuration give my four ohm impedence or will I have to use a 2 ohm resistor , and if so how should this be done.
thanks for input and info

can't you use a transformer?

Since this is the Pit, ...

I fell asleep on my arm once, scariest thing that ever happened to me. I thought it was kill.
"guitar gear and accessories" is a sub forum here on UG. You'll learn your way around in time. There are people here who can surely answer your question, but not in the Pit.

As for me I really don't know. Impedance confuses the bejaysus out of me.
