I'm in a transitional period and have them both sitting in my room(both are purdy). Playing them side to side...Wow! Twin Reverb is just amazing! Makes the BD sound like a mud fart.
I'm not gonna enjoy the weight of the TR, but well worth it. And you can almost do bedroom volume as the volume pot doesn't go from no sound to holy crap!

Surprised how much better it sounds...maybe others are contemplating these amps...
Since you have bc rich in your sig, I'm sorry this was not a line 6 post with the mids turned off

Why are you surprised? It cost significantly more.

TS, the BD isn't supposed to be a smaller/cheaper version of the TR...they're meant to do different things. the TR has a very specific clean (and loud) tone to it. something it sounds like you are enjoying more than what your BD does. i know some people that love amps voiced like the BD, but don't like the TR. all personal preference. i'm glad you're digging the TR though

$400 isn't significant when a BD is already $1k...

Who cares how much it was? You bought a frontman.

No sure which is prettier...Might sell the Blues and get an AC15 or a Semi-Hollow.

Stick this in your frontman!
