hi, can someone tell me about any song with a good bass line for learning???

Love Foolosophy - Jamiroquai
Tom Sawyer - Rush
Roundabout - Yes
Get on the Floor - Michael Jackson
Yurtle the Turtle - RHCP

My personal faves!
I love Prog, +1 for synth solos and songs about maggie thatcher.

Geddy Lee Jazz (Black )
Fender Rumble 100 (It lights up )
MXR Auto-Wah (Purple... )
Boss Bass Overdrive (I can almsot sound like Chris Wolstenholme )
A lot of Beatles songs have amazing bass lines, Paul McCartney is a really good bass player.

They have a lot of great bass line but the most obvious one that jumps out is probably "Don't let me down", Just a simply amazing song..
Linkin Park - Given Up
Motley Crue - Dr. Feelgood
Cream - Sunshine of Your Love
"You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life. "

"If you're going through hell, keep going."

"It is a fine thing to be honest, but it is also very important to be right."

- Sir Winston Churchill
thanks, I was getting bored of playing the same stuff and I didnt know some bands you posted were that good
there's a cool thread at the top of the page that has a whole load of songs.

that said, Walking on The Moon by the Police is a really easy starter.

I wouldn't call what we have here on the Bass Forum a mentality. It's more like the sharing part of an AA meeting.
