I think you should. Money will come ad go. You'll get a job and be able to get new gear some other time. This experience will mean a lot more to you both as a person and as influence on your guitar playing than some gear.

Definitely go to the show. You'll regret it if you don't.

Headbang until your head becomes detached from the rest of your body, then throw it into the crowd while you play a killer guitar solo. Trust me, it would be totally br00tal.

Go to the concert. The chance might not come again, but you can always save up and get that gear at a later time.

Let me give you a scenario. You skip APC to get the amp or PRS. Next week, they die in a wreck going to another venue. You won't have a chance to see them.

Or, you see them. Next week, they die in a crash. You saw them. A week later, you get a job and make money. 3 months later, you buy a Peavey 3120. Life is good.

I'm not hoping APC die, just using it for a scenario.

You go see APC and then when you get home on the news , you find out that all prs guitars have been giving out powerfull magic powers and there actually made of gold on the inside and are worth 1000000 billion dollars. but now they have to reposes all guitars that are for sale.

Personally I would take the $200. But if it's a band that you haven't seen before or rarely have seen, then go for the concert tickets.

Or what other's have been saying, take the $200 and spend it on tickets and be super sneaky. Or ask your parents if you can make that option "C"...

That makes no ****ing sense.

Take the $200, buy tickets to APC, and you will then have $120 towards a new amp as well as tickets.

that's a stupid thing to say. they provide a service, the experience wears out after you get used to it, and it's no longer satisfying once you're accustomed to it.

experiences give you memories, and times to look back on and think 'i'm glad i did that' and 'i wish i could go back'.

since when has an amp given you that feeling?

Taking the guitar to get it signed at the concert is optional. Might as well, since if you robbed a bank you probably have more than enough for another one.

HAHA! Yeah, after thinking about it, you'd probably be better off trying to get your momma to give you the $200 cash. I mean, how much are APC tickets anyway? Can't be more than $50, especially if you're just going by yourself.

Just make sure you bring enough money for a t-shirt and nachos. Nothing makes me more mad than going to a concert and forgetting to bring enough money for a t-shirt. Or at least a wristband.

EDIT: Btw Megadeth, I might sig you on that :P

I'd go to the concert. What happens if they break up and you never get to see them again? Guitars and amps will always be there. Mow a few lawns and earn the extra money.

I would kill to see APC live.

I voted item before I read it. If you love them then go see them. Seeing a favorite band is better than getting any guitar.
