I'm trying to play nice dream-radiohead

and i don't know how to do a transition from the D do Asus4 in the tuning EADGAE

the d chord voicing im using

can anyone suggest an alternative method not involving standard tuning

i want to know how he's doing in the part from 0.48-0.55, i know he plays a D then Asus4 but i dont know what is or how to perform the fingering

That's not a D chord, but a Dadd9.

That chord does not have a B in it. The tuning is not standard, the 5th string is dropped from a B to an A in the tuning. So it's a Dadd9.
