I was fooling around with a Gothic Epiphone Explorer today and the tone knob caught my eye because it could be pressed inwards and it killed the signal like a killswitch, does anybody know what its called?

You could probably use a push-knob to do the same thing if you wire it yourself too.

Tried a guitar with a push/pull signal-kill before, it's too slow to staccato effects.

it's so cool to hate Gibson, even the federal Department of Justice hates them.

Never tried it myself but seems like it'd work so it was just a suggestion.

Valid suggestion and it'd work as a signal-kill. Not so much as a kill-switch ala Buckethead, too slow.
