hey everyone! i was looking around at replacing the pickups for my concklin 7-string and im needin some advice! i was thinking about the emg 707 active pickups and they are awesome from what iv heard butttt, iv read that they are not great for lead work (which i do alot) any recommendations on this or another pickup like it?
i prefer active ones the most thanks!

Well, of course 707's are good enough. Loomis' work proves that more than enough. On the other hand if you want something unique, you could try lundgren pickups or bareknuckles, those are also really amazing for that "chugga chugga" feel rhythm and then really nice sounding leads.
