today i plugged an phase 90 into my effects loop and it made the distortion not as intense and the br00t of the 5150 like wasnt there. but the phase was like totally overpoweringly loud. which was gay.

so i plugged the phase 90 in in front of my guitar, and it was the right volume of phasing then, but still the like Br00t of the 5150 was taken away, way less distortion.

normally my amp sounds just like eddie.

with teh phaser it sounds way less extreme/cutting/totally br00tal

why

Phasers tend to do that to gain. Can you return it? I know I would never get a pedal with only one control on it.

A possible solution would be to boost your level after the phaser with an EQ or something, but I don't know how effective that would be.
