For me (and I assume many others) Cobus has always been a great one to watch:

Nsync - Pop

Boomfunk MC - Freestyler

I also used to be really into Machine Gun Smith when I was starting out:

Metallica - One/Drum Solo

Slipknot - Before I Forget

What are some of you guys favorite Youtube drummers?

Agreed with Cobus. He came to my town a few months ago and put on a stellar show; not to mention he's a real funny, down-to-earth kind of guy!

I love you for saying that.

after I said "if the Governator could do it; so can Mr. Colbert"

Cobus is incredible, I especially like his drumming in Tik-Tok, by Kesha, for the way it accents the vocal rhythm, in the chorus. Listening to the way he rethinks beats for such boring songs, and makes them really good fun to jam to, has been really inspirational for me, when I'm looking to write a more interesting beat.

Ricky and Cobus are defently two of the best drummers on youtube, only problem i have with them is that their videos make me feel like a terrible drummer :/

You guys seem to foget about all the other amazing drummers on YouTube, I agree, Cobus and Ricky are my favorite, but there are lts of AMAZING drummers on YouTube that just don't get recognized.

Cobus, Ricky, vadrum, chaserrr, crushhhhhh, DrumK!Ng, and Luke Holland Are my favorites. I have some others, but can't think of them right now.

I watched her cover of Tom Sawyer without much expectation because generally Girl musicians on youtube (especially Hot girls ) in general just get loads of views and comments even if they aren't that good, but that was a very impressive cover

Have you guys heard of Luke Holland? I discovered him a few months ago while looking for some Thriller covers. Extremely talented, but his overplaying makes Brann Dailor look like Phil Rudd

Eminem feat Rhianna - Love the Way You Lie
B.o.b feat Hayley Williams - Airplanes
August Burns Red - The Eleventh Hour

I don't really like a lot of his covers. With that level of overplaying it makes it really hard to listen to, imo.

I love Luke Holland, He's sooooo good for such a young age. I too have a bit of a gripe with his over playing, but it seems that'll be something that there'll be less of as he progresses. kid's got chops though

I agree he's very technically talented, but (especially on his Thriller cover) when he is just doing the standard groove at the beginning, I don't think it sounds very good. The intro fill is cool though Definitely don't think he's a bad drummer, just not my thing.
