ok so i have a blue voodoo and on the front panel there is a 12db pad switch that controls the fx loop output. you push the switch in and it cuts the volume by 12db when the switch is out the amp is on full bore.
the problem is when the switch is out the -12db thing is still on. i have to find a sweet spot for it to turn off im wondering if i could perhaps spray some Detoxit into the switch and work it back and forth to fix the issue without frying my amp?
or should i just take it in?

as always any and all help is appreciated thanks.
