i basically get tabs that other people have written out and make them more compact. i take out all instruments but one, and when there's constantly repeating parts i just put in repeat markers instead of having the original riff copy and pasted over and over again. i think it makes it easier for some guitarist to play along with the tab and look at it.

That is what most tabs do my friend.

most of the tabs i get have one riff copied and pasted like 11 times in a row, i think its easier and uses less paper just take that one riff, put the repeat marker for 11 times, and delete the extra 10. its not a problem if you have you just look at the tabs on your computer, but i like to print them out and look at them at school.
