Hey guys,

I've collaborated with my friend a lot in the past and here's our newest recording.

The song is off of Regina Spektor's new album and as she's a piano player we had to change it up a little bit.

For whatever reason (I think because I doubled the guitar track and panned instead of actually recording two and taking care of phase) it has some really bad phase cancellation in mono, so if you can, watch it in the higher quality.

I'll crit anything you send my way as well.

Hi,

The playing is very good, the recording is also very good. Although the singing... I like it :-D but sometimes it sounds like she has trouble holding a note or sounds like she is losing her voice. like 0.39

But she has a good voice and i enjoyed listening to your performance :-D

Cheers,

Yeah, she was very tired when we did this video and wasn't entirely happy with the way her voice turned out. She's definitely good though, a vocal major.

Thanks for the comment! I'll get yours by the end of the night, I'm going out with some friends at the moment.

I really liked this. I understand the previous comment about note sustian, but I actually think her general tone is really beautiful and totally suits the song, she's a very good singer. The guitar is very tight aswell.

Here's mine if you get the chance to listen:
