so i have about 600$ i want to buy something with before saving for a really high end guitar, of the things i can get im thinking of a multi effects unit.

so far im thinking:

Tc electronics, nova system
tc electronics, gmajor II with small midi switcher

OR

line 6 pod hd 500

Boss Gt10?

That's what I was gonna say. That or the GT Pro or whatever their rackmount thing is. Saw a demo of it once, looked pretty sick.
Gig Rig:

Schecter Hellraiser V-1
Crate BV120H
B-52 LS 4x12 cabinet
BBE Rackmount Sonic Max
Boss ME-50 Pedalboard
Digital Reference 2505 Wireless

I don't like BTBAM. Sue Me.

the only thing good about the gt-10 is it sounds amazing at low volumes through the input of a solid state amp, the cleans are orgasmic and it's good for recording with a decent tone, great for just the effects but the amp modelling is shit, go buy a line 6 pod x3 live if you want modelling, hd500 sucks imo, gt-10 is you want effects

BOSS GT10
BOSS ME70
POD HD 500

(not necessarily in that order)

Edit: You know, for $600 you could build a kick ass home made pedal board, and just get the stuff that you want - you'll get a little more versatility going that way, plus you will be able to run certain things through an effects loop, and the rest through the front of the amp rather than having to run everything out in front of the amp, or all in the effects loop. Thats a really good idea if you want to run stomp boxes before the amp, but still want to use delay or something while using the amp's gain channel.

This is terrible advice. Even worse than the useless dry, sarcastic comment I made.

Ooooh, no man. ME-70 ain't in that area.

Although I do love my ME-50

EDIT: Although his idea about building a custom board honestly sounds pretty good.

Yeah I love mine too, haven't used it much though since I built my own board

i have a basic pedalboard alread thats:

tuner OD and noise suppressor.

but im looking a multi effects unit to cover delays reverbs and choruses.

btw if it has amp modelling i will use it. thats why im not looking at the GT-10

Then I'm throwing in a vote for the HD500 or the G-Major II
