I'm trying to get the intonation right on my John Mayer Strat. I adjusted the neck but the distance is still uneven. How do I raise the bridge so that the string distance from the 12th fret up is equal to the lower part of the neck. I tried moving the screw things on the bridge back and forth but it doesn't make it higher. I can't find anything to make the bridge go up. On my SG there are two screws I use to move the saddle up.

Your prolly gonna need to reinnotate, the screws on the back of the bridge adjust the innotation. lol

To adjust the action on a strat bridge, you get a Allen wrench and adjust the two small screws that are in the front of each saddle on the bridge, and you adjust the height of each string.
