Hey guys, In the market for a new delay (sub £45 GBP)
so far i have the Biyang AD8 earmarked
or one of the Behringer dd400-600.
I think i prefer the sound of analogue delay,

I am looking for Pink floyd esque delays, but i dont see the need for massive repeats
i would like it to be able to fit into different genres, for fills of various kinds e,t,c

here are some clips on youtube, i think im more swayed towards the Biyang in all honesty

Biyang..

Ebay > 2nd hand >Boss

But of those two? Behringer

Can I ask why the budget is so low? I mean, its not like you have beginner gear.

it's so cool to hate Gibson, even the federal Department of Justice hates them.

Deadkenedy, what makes you say that? also, my budget does not allow even second hand boss pedals currently, these lower pricers are my only options.!

Ragingkitty, im just looking for a cheap delay to mess around with to be honest, but am also pretty skint, its just the situation im in, the better sound:value delay at the moment is the one im going for

Just googled memory toy, too expensive. budget is stone set.
the guitar tech is just in budget, youtube time methinks

Behringer Vintage Time Machine. Do it.

You won't be able to tell the difference between it and a Deluxe Memory Man. Some will say they can but really they can't unless they can plainly SEE what one is being used.
Sparrow Twangmaster Telecaster
G&L Legacy Stratocaster

Korg Pitchblack > Fuzz Face > Tubescreamer -> Crybaby -> Modded SD-1 -> Big Muff -> Phaser -> El Capistan -> TS-1 Tremolo/Stereo-Pan

A used Danelector PB&J delay? Or a new Danelectro FAB delay?

I have a delay that is identical to the biyang (far as I know), except it's sold under a different name as part of a local store's house brand's line of pedals.

It's alright, and for the 40€ I payed, I can't complain. I mainly use it to make leads thicker, otherwise it's so-so. :/

+1 for the Vintage Time Machine.

Ibanez DE7. Incredibly versatile and cheap as chips if you can get one used.

Mate, check this out.

for only £5 more, you could get the real deal. Try and negotiate the £50 to include the postage.

EDIT: Also, if it's gone, just keep checking gumtree. One will come along sooner or later for a similar price. I've also bought 3 pedals off gumtree with no problems.
