A Vox maybe?

I have a friend that plays alot of 60's type rock and he owns Vox AC30.

He says it "Jangles."

Other than that, what amps were your favorite 60s bands playing during their time?
Orange Rockerverb 100MKII
Orange PPC412C
Fender Telecaster: Hotrails, Air Norton, Area '58

'60s psychedelic rock is pretty vague... you could get a Fender, a Marshall, a Vox, an Orange, a Hiwatt, or one of the many soundalikes available today.

if your going new look at Vox, Fender. If you can get over all the bashing the Bugera amps sound realy good and dont cost 1/2 of the competition. The V55 or V22 would give you what your looking for, even the BC-30 will get those 60ish tones.
2002 PRS CE22
2013 G&L ASAT Deluxe
2009 Epiphone G-400 (SH-4)
Marshall JCM2000 DSL100
Krank 1980 Jr 20watt
Krank Rev 4x12 (eminence V12)
GFS Greenie/Digitech Bad Monkey
Morley Bad Horsie 2

Maybe try a Budda Superdrive 18 or a used Bluesbreaker?

Fender, Marshall and Vox pretty much ruled the psychedelic roost back in the mid to late 60s. However, most people played with relatively clean tones. Those who did not got thier dirtier tones with a fuzz pedal, so you should be good to go with any quality amplifier/cab or combo amp setup.
