I've looked all over the internet trying to find the model for this and its been a ridiculous task. I hope some gearhead can tell me what it is and maybe has a pic of it somewhere to confirm it. Oh and what it's probably worth.

Serial: F0111378 So made in Japan in '01, but it doesn't match up to any of the '01 models.

2 Humbucker V7 and V8 (or so it says on the pickups)

Floyd Rose system

Ibanez is "special" like that. And serial numbers cannot tell you the model number only try to point you in the right direction...except not all models are on their catalogues either...

Reminds me of an RG350, but I know they put the INF pickups on them.. maybe an early model..

But haven't those always been HSH?

ya, nothing about it indicates its a 350. I was thinking it might be a prestige model but I could be way off on that.

1997 to Now
F=Fujigen factory,
2nd & 3rd digit=year made(eg 04=2004)
next 5 digits =month & build number
Jan=5000
Feb=10000
Mar=15000
Apr=20000
May=25000
June=30000
July=35000
Aug=40000
Sept=45000
Oct=50000
Nov=55000
Dec=60000
So an example here is for a recent model with a Serial number F0330210 = Fujigen 2003 June 210th guitar built.

1984 to 1996 example serial number F232104
F=Fujigen
2=1992 as an example
3=March production So 1=Jan 12=Dec
2104 guitar built for that month 2104th made

I already did that thus I posted its made in Japan and built in 2001. That doesn't tell me the model (since serials don't correlate to models) and it doesn't match up to any of the models in the 2001 catalogue.

After looking at back catalogs it does appear to be an RG 520 series. I think the 1000s were added to remake their model i.e. 1520 is a remake of 520 etc. so it would be a 520...Which one though I'm not sure since the suffixes are very confusing. Can anyone confirm this? What's it probably worth.

It's an RG520QS. QS meaning Quilted Sapele top. It has an original Edge bridge.

It looks like it's taken a few hits... I'd say it's worth about $400-$500.

Also, the bridge needs to be adjusted a bit. It's pulling into the body.

I hope you're planning on keeping that... it's a damn nice guitar and they're discontinued.

Lol, ya I haven't played it in years so the floating bridge is sunken too low and needs an adjustment. I was planning on selling it but you think its worth keeping? They already have remakes as the 1000 models (like the 1520, 1570) etc., no?
