I have recently discovered the best guitar combination for any band! The les paul and the telecaster! the two guitars are so different in tone and character, that they compliment eachother perfectly! any thoughts?

that all depends on whether you want that contrast between guitar tones, which not everyone will.
I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.

Not the best combination for ANY band, it depends.

But yes, it's a combination that sounds pretty good, i've been saying it for years... Ever since i first noticed that combo being used by the lostprophets (a PRS Singlecut and a Tele, but it's the same principle: one guitar with dual HB + one with twangy single-coils).
Squier "VMC" Stratocaster
PRS SE Singlecut
tc electronic polytune
CMAT MODS Signa Drive
Blakemore Effects Deus Ex Machina
DIY gaussmarkov Dr. Boogey
EHX Small Clone
Mooer ShimVerb
DIY Beavis Devolt
T-REX Fuel Tank Chameleon
Ampeg GVT52-112

Did you come up with that idea from listening to the Pixies? Because they use a Telecaster and a Les Paul.
