You can't use LePou's plugins with ProTools unless you buy a VST wrapper for it, as far as I know he doesn't make RTAS versions of his stuff

I'll agree with POD Farm though, though I think with that clip the TS posted, he could make that work for the sound he wants with some good impulses and some EQing

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.

For guitars amps its really worth to convert stuff.
The free ones (lepou, oquel and similar) are way better then the pricy stuff.

In your opinion.

I've heard some great clips with them, but they all sound like ass when I try to use them

Revalver sounds the most realistic to me, by far, the only problem is, all the models have a weird midrange that's hard to make it sit right in a mix.

Overloud is pretty badass, but POD Farm is the only plugin I've used thus far that sat in a mix, with minimal post processing, right where it should.

The best thing you can do is download a bunch of demos and find out which one is the best sounding to you. Here are some more you can check out:

Metal Amp Room
Revalver 3.5
Amplitube 3.5
Amplifikation Creme
Overloud TH2

Thanks!

Definitely better, but the vocals and drums are too loud.
