Whats up everyone, I wrote another song today. It's called FRIDAY. Check it out on my soundcloud linked below. Any questions or comments I'd love to hear it! And I will always C4C, so just leave me a link.

Thanks!

the riff sounds too much like 46 & two by TOOL, but the mix was awesome, and i love how you have it down as GOSPEL haha

could work on the actual guitar's distorted tone though- its a bit muddy

other than that- i loved listening to it haha

Just listened to a few of these, Gotta say I'm liking your style. What you using for guitars? Sounds like line6....
Good tunes. Great riffs.
c4c?
Guitars are recorded in a room with a mic right?
Song is solid, I likes it plenty room for vox and stuff. maybe bring up the drums.
But that's the only thng i can say.

Thanks! Everything was done with my Gibson explorer, R
ran through my Boss GT-10 pedal board and straight to my computer via USB, no amps or mics.

I'll c4c you when I get home!

Sounds pretty good man, interesting style you've got going on there and the production sounds pretty good if you've just done it at home. During the solo however, think the guitar could be a little louder? And as for the composition, I'm a bit undecided for the transition at around 1:15, how it goes from grungy/dissonant to the bubbly chords, maybe a short interlude to separate them?

I was half expecting a Rebecca Black cover lol. Just reading what other people have said I don't think the transition at 1:15 was all that bad, although I do think the end solo would have been better if it stood out from the mix a bit more. Also with the intro there is about a 2 sec break between the drums and guitar I think it might sound cooler if it just transitioned in i.e. extend the drum intro for a couple more seconds? Or add in a little fill there maybe? These were all pretty small things though, I loved the overall sense of rhythm, pretty solid effort man, keep it up.

If you get the time it'd be awesome if you could check out my latest one:

The toms and overheads sound pretty bad as a mix. You get off time around 1:06. The transition at 1:15 sounded fine to me, but it all depends on how you write vocals for it. Not bad overall.

I liked parts of it but there was too much going on, too many weird juxtapositions for my taste. But if that's your thing! Technically the guitar playing was pretty good, though.
