Ok so I've been in a bit of a classical music mood lately.
So I decided to learn what sequences are.
So what is a sequence and how are they used?

Sequences are kind of a motivic repetition where you take a motive and then repeat it at a certain interval (often a second or third) in sequence. Listen to Vivaldi. Vivaldi is the king of sequence. You'll hear a little motivic thing that will continuously repeat, sometimes moving around the circle of fifths, or whatever.

From 0:05-0:13 there is a beauty of a sequence (as well as in a million other spots, but that's just the first one). Hear how it is the same motive that just continuously cycles at a consistent interval?
