Sup guiz.

This is my second guitar : http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/reviews/electric_guitars/westfield/e4500/index.html
My main guitar is an LTD MH400, so I obviously don't use my Westfield, as they don't compare.

Would fitting EMG's make my Westfield sound a lot better? Would it be worth it? Or sell it and help fund an EC1000?

Cheers, MH.
RIP Tom Searle.

It all depends on what sound you're looking for, given that you've considered saving for an EC1000 I'm guessing you want a metal orientated guitar? in which case EMG's would work well although I've seen a lot of people recommend Seymour Duncan Blackouts over EMG's so you may want to consider them as an alternative.
