So next year I'm taking AP theory in highschool, and don't want to go into it cold, because I heard it's pretty demanding. A few days ago my friend recommended musictheory.org but when I got there it was one of those weird link sites that link to random shit o.O never understood those

So I was just wondering if you guys could help me out with any websites you have found to be factual and easy to grasp etc.. also not looking for paying for these..

also this I just found which is a network so maybe my friend just made a mistake anyway please evaluate this if you would be so kind:http://www.musictheory.net/

Also, look around in some free e-book sites and you might find some gold!!!

The Alan Belkin links on harmony, orchestration, and counterpoint I found from this link is indeed the gold I've been digging for lately. Thanks.

Wow. I'm only posting so I can have this on my list of posts... For obvious reasons.. (lack of knowledge that certain links in here provide.)
