Crust band from the hardcore haven Britain which essentially solidified the bridge between metal and hardcore, providing an appropriate voice for social commentary.

One of the absolute greats, along with Discharge.

RIP Amebix 78-87

It's not a piece of shit, it's just... not up to par in quality, considering it's the same band that did No Sanctuary and Arise.

The dip in quality is comparable to old Burzum vs new Burzum.

EDIT: Fuck, I am unable to hate this band's material.

I only briefly looked through the song but what I heard was a piece of shit.

Listened to Monolith for the first time last night. Was pretty impressed, not much else to say about it yet though. Time Bomb was a pretty sick song though.

Oh man, revisited some Amebix releases today... cannot stop playing No Sanctuary. Total desolation on this one.

Who's the Enemy is probably my favorite Amebix release. However, I haven't heard Arise in its entirety yet.

These don't sound like very good ambitions when driving...Judas Priest makes people want to go 200 mph, and Realm of Chaos is now an album for ramming shit. You are dangerous, dangerous people.

Listen sparingly and let it sink in. You'll never want to let go
