And there is a modulation in the guitar solo, also going off memory.
And no, Guitar Hero will not help. Even on expert. Really.

You know the most annoying thing about these threads is that the TS doesn't learn anything except what pattern to look up on the internet for the solo, and then they just come back next time they want to know the pattern.

I "could" tell TS what the key is, it would only take 10 or so secs to find out. But instead I think it's better for the TS to figure out themselves.

Exactly, I was just agreeing with the "not E anything" comment to hopefully nudge him in the right direction.

I asked many questions like this when I was learning.
A little informational reinforcement of knowledge never hurt anyone.

I thing e but i could be wrong. Think i can use a minor pent scale to jam for it?

yeah, minor pentatonic would be most appropriate. It starts off in A, but then changes key for the solo. (goes to C for the solo section)

I think it goes to C?

Don't do that.
But boys will be boys and girls have those eyes
that'll cut you to ribbons, sometimes
and all you can do is just wait by the moon
and bleed if it's what she says you ought to do
