This is just kind of a simple folk song i wrote.

And we drive slow on the roads that we know*
The scenic routes grow old and the trees begin to bow
But they take us home to where we wanna go.

I started waiting too soon cause your just passing through
But I've got an empty bed and a kitchen full of food*
Dont worry You can still catch the train in the morning if you choose.

In the morning your breakfast is untouched and your bed is all made
Its clear you weren't here when night turned today
But it's okay cause soon memories of this life start to fade.

I really like this, I think that quite a lot of people would be able to relate. I especially like:

"In the morning your breakfast is untouched and your bed is all made
Its clear you weren't here when night turned today"

I think it flowed really well.

The only thing I would say is that the last line is slightly clichéd, so for me it doesn't fit in as well as the rest of the lyrics, which are very down to earth.

Anyway to conclude, I really like this song
