Just remembered that quote from Euro Trip "If you're not a Manc, you're a wank."

Anyway, are you all keeping up with the transfer saga?

http://uk.yahoo.eurosport.com/football/premier-league/chat.shtml?chatid=c18db8531c

If Chelsea want Neymar, Santos want 41m.
Alexis Sanchez is apparently going to Barca along with Cesc.
Villa cleared the way for Young to go to Utd.
Martinez allegedly lined up for Aston Villa job.

Much as I like Young as a player, I'm not sure why we're buying another winger, when we clearly need a CM more than anything else.

Yeah, but Villa said that it's wrong and that they're actually talking to Roberto Martinez from Wigan

Centre Midfield is quite dire. I don't see why they don't try and get Scott Parker, great holding midfield player and would cost absolutely **** all.

Sunderland are taking Gibson, Brown and O Shea in a 12m bid.

He's too old, they'd be better off getting Sneijder, unfortunately for them he's supposedly on his way to Chelski along with awesome Cristan Eriksen.

He would provide some serious lulz.

If he goes to Villa I'm earmarking them for relegation.

Would be pretty funny, especially considering they're looking for a centre attacking mid, plus they generally do well with french players so...

He'd be sacked before Christmas, but he'd probably buy Lucas first

Where would Nasri fit in at Utd? :/ I've been trying to work it out for a while now.
He doesnt work as a CM and surely Nani and Valencia will be first coice on the wings.

Behind Rooney? What about Hernandez

I don't know, apparently he's been linked with Tottenham but then again even Gomes is linked with Tottenham

Any news on N'Zogbia returning to Newcastle?

Real Madrid tried to tempt Hernandez away, would probably be easier if they just bought Man U, would save them a fortune in transfer fees.

N'Zogbia has been rumoured to be returning to St. James, sorry, SportsDirect

He's not any good anyway

But to be honest they'd have to pay a ridiculous amount and they'd be better off with Neymar (who they're now heavily linked with )

Micheal Owen should go back to Madrid

Would be good if he linked up with Tiote and Gervinho to join Newcastle

You could have

De Gea

Rafael - Vidic - Jones/Ferdinand/Smalling - Fabio/Evra

Nani - Nasri - Anderson - Valenica

Rooney

Hernandez/Owen >.>

that would absolutely rape the premiership unless Chelsea and Liverpool buy in some amazing players + manager

Man City have been quiet so far but they generally wait until August to start buying (They better not buy Cavani )

Anyone watching the Under 21's tournament starting this weekend I believe? I think I will, if only to see how Smalling and Jones do together in the centre of defence.
