Video wasn't very informative. Hopefully it will be something cool though, I haven't had GAS for anything lately and that has me concerned.

It'll be a coffee-making distortion unit modelling the tones made famous by Puff the Magic Dragon and Pete from Arkansas.
It's an opinion. It's subjective. And I'm right, anyway.

Heard from a good source that they are just making a midi-controller for the Axe Fx. That being said, it will CONTROL the Axe Fx's distortion, treble, phaser, all of the above listed, etc.

Not sure what you're trying to imply, the Pod HD500 is pretty much the best floor unit on the market.

The whole finger pointing thing and other announcements make it sound like it has something to do with iPad integration.

That's pretty ridiculous. Like I'm really going to spend $1100 ($500 + $600 iPad) to get a $400 multifx.

I can't promise you that is what they are coming out with but it has something to do with the iPad.

Cause everybody has ipads.

So much for hoping they'd actually put out a good RP. Like a Hardwire RP. That's what I want.

I found it from this thread at the gear page
http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showthread.php?t=910354&page=6

I guess that Ebay dealer had the ins and thats why he had images on his listing. Ive saved the page to grab the images to maybe post them up later. I dont know about that product though. For what it is (an RP1000 with ipod connection and docking) and software that looks like something from guitar rig at the price they're selling it for, I think its a fail.

yes it is, but that app is setup for recording, not as an interface to the pedal. But Im thinking why couldn't they simply make a firmware update and release the user interface as a separate app. But of course they did this to milk on the ipad.

It's probably ridiculously priced, but I think it's pretty neat.

What the hell. No.. That's not even a good idea. I mean, if you're dropping 500 bucks on an iPad and then 500 bucks on this thing, why not just get a real amp or you could probably even get an Axe-Fx at that point..

I mean, okay yeah it'd be wicked sweet if it was cheaper. But for the price you're paying, there's bound to be so much better out there.
