Hi UG.

My current gear is

Digitech RP 90
Marshall mg30dfx
Cort x-11 with EmgHz

although i like the classic rock tone from my amp but

My marshall amp contains no mids.

My budget is 400$ .

What Amp should i buy ,

1) i want heavy fat distortion along with good tone .

2) it should obviously have mids .

Effects are a + :P

I promise i wont buy a sucky amp this time ..

Please help me out

Thank you in advance .

Hope I can also ask my question here.

I live in South Africa and I'm looking to buy a new Amp, nothing big but looking for 65w Bass amp.
My Closest city is Pretoria
I play Metal
I currently have a Jackson JS32T, Marshall mg15dfx amp and a Boss Metal Zone MT-2 Pedal!
Mostly for home but for gig would be nice
I play mostly distortion however a good clean sound wouldn't hurt for some songs!

Budget depends... I've got R4000 which is roughly 590.631 USD

Dude just start a new thread man. Copy & paste and start a new thread.

Also, please highlight some bands whose tone you like.

JCA22 when it comes out... you can pop in an OD for the uber high gain.

If you can double your budget, you can definitely look at the Bugera Magician... but that seems like quite a stretch.

I think a Peavey Vypyr would be quite an upgrade from your MG... but its still a practice amp.

a frame of reference might help as i have no idea what amps etc go for in india. i;m guessing that $400 doesn't go as far there as it would in the US.
#10
Yes it doesnt go as far as it goes in US , what are stacks and half stacks and i use them with mg30dfx or get a cab with it ?

whats difference between rolands cube 80x and XL?

Laney lx120? Got effects, and is £250, which'll be in your budget.

peavey valveking but i don't know if that is even close to your price range where you are. this is why i asked for a frame of reference as most of us here have no clue what $400 will buy in yor country. tough to make a good suggestion without all the facts.
#14
Don't get a modeling amp. Get a nice tube amp. Maybe a Peavy valveking 112?
Guitars: Fender FSR Standard Strat, Squire Affinity Strat, Epiphone Nighthawk
Amps: Vox AC15C1, Roland Cube 15x, Peavey KB-1
Pedals: Digitech RP355, HD500, Joyo AC-Tone, EHX Soul Food
