I play in a metal band and we're needing a new PA so the vox can stop being run through a frontman 15 and a Peavey Rage 158 Anyone have experience with this PA? Will it be loud enough for practice and/or small shows? We would be using it strictly for vox. Keep in mind I'm in a metal band so it gets pretty loud.

Thanks.

Don't know, the seller doesn't give any specs or even any make and model. If you are desperate go for it, its a good price even if a piece doesnt work, it is still good for parts

Edit: oh i see it is a phonic, never heard of the brand, try looking at reviews of it at other sites

I think it'd be much better than any vocal monitor you'd be getting. The only thing better is a better PA or a stadium setup

It's a good one it looks like

Never heard of the brand however

Go for it!

Looking at that, I think you might want to get something bigger.

It will not be loud enough to do much with, I have Dual 300 watt amps in my PA and i get by in small clubs / bars and some medium halls. However I'm pushing close to Limiting, If anything i wish i had dual 500w looking back. Outdoors i usually feed a second rack amp and add more speakers.

I would check local shops to see what they have used. ( you probably don't need what i use, but something a little more powerful then that PA.)

For practice, we're running about 400w, and that's enough, but for shows, we double that, and it's find for most small to medium sized places.
