Hey up all,

been playing for 17 years now (jeez, that makes me feel old writing that!) and recently started to have some lessons again, and loved it.

Teacher was a great jazz guitarist, but I left that city and now cannot find a good teacher close by to where I am ...

anyone got any really good resources for jazz guitar... I am looking at really trying to understand the use of triad inversions as a framework for improvisation,

all the best,

If you're willing to pay some money, there are a load of good teachers you can sign up with online where you can watch recorded lessons, send in your videos of exercises and get feedback:

and started in the last few days:

All of the above you can post videos to.

Correspondence course that is meant to be good:

And also Truefire DVDs: http://truefire.com/jazz-guitar-lessons/
