Hi, my rig atm is rather basic, and cheap, so I plan on slowly replacing it all, starting with my guitar.
My band plays stuff like mayday parade, every avenue etc..
GUITARS
I was thinking either a tele or les paul, I'd prefer to go gibson if it was a les paul. And Fender if it were a tele.

AMPS
I've seen a lot of artists I like, and play similar stuff to use orange, so I was thinking of saving for like a Rockerverb 50 combo.

I will be using this set up for gigs and studio work, all of which will be mic'd.

My current set-up is:
Epiphone SG special>EHX nano metal muff>Peavey Vypyr 30.

Thanks, Danny

Yah... you'll probably want to upgrade it ALL for playing with a band.. Save for whatever you like. Find a guitar and good amp you dig... save...

=profit..

Well not really ... but yah

amp first!

a ad guitar through a good amp sound better than a good guitar through a decent amp

I agree that the amp should come first. A friend of mine just bought a Gibson Les Paul Studio and the thing rocks. With exception to the small bells and whistes it's excactly the same as my Les Paul standard. Gibson makes great guitars. You can't go wrong there.
Gibson Les Paul Classic
Fender Stratocaster (Mexican)
Hagstrom Ultra Swede
Music Man Axis Sport
