Hey, i think i can help being that one of my favorite guitarists is Randy Rhoads haha. the harmonics in a song like crazy train are crucial if you want to get that signature sound. in this case the harmonics on the tab are somewhat off as you stated on the second time through. you do play the same harmonics as before. you play them simply by applying a small amount of pressure on the string and it should ring out. a good way to practice is to run your finger fore example along the Low E string and constantly pick the string with your finger on it making harmonics as you slide, that way you can pinpoint were your guitar makes the right harmonic for the job.
