I'm looking for a good 5 string bass. I'd like it to have fairly good pickups, either humbuckers or something that would produce a similar sound. Quilt/Flame top would be nice, but not needed. Bolt on, neck thru, set neck, I don't really care. Just a good fat sounding 5 string bass for less than $450. Any recommendations? Or are there no basses like that in my price range?

Schecter omen 5. I think is exactly 449. Other than that peavey is the only brand I can think of with a quilt top.

Yes unfortunately. Im looking to get the 675 or the 705. They're really nice basses, they only make the 595 now.
