What is the difference between the Gibson SG Classic and the Gibson SG Classic Faded? Is it only the finish, or is the neck or pickups different?

Piano dick had some good parts, but should have said "As the business man slowly gets boned", would have accented the whole dick feeling of the album
well.. the necks are gonna be different from guitar to guitar anyway - this is gibson we're talking about. they specify one neck profile but that doesn't mean a thing.

speaking of specs, how hard can it be to just find the specs for each model on something like musiciansfriend?

other than that i doubt there's a difference other than the finish, which is gonna feel more different than anything else. a lot of people hate the way gibson's gloss finishes feel which is probably the reason why the faded guitars exist.
