I have a Marshall JCM 2000 DSL half stack and Im using a KORG Toneworks AX1500G pedalboard with it. So if my understanding is right i just set up the amp settings to a 'neutral' setting on the clean channel that is never changed apart from volume and then use the pedalboard for all tone changes/switches? So my main question is, what sould this 'neutral' setting be to get the best sound using the pedalboard? I have volume, gain, presence, treble, middle and bass that can be changed! Cheers!

Let the amp be the main source of your tone opposed to the pedals! seeing as it's a tube head. Let the pedals 'enhance' your tone.

This, the drive/amp models in the korg will never sound as good as the Marshalls drive channel

I would just use the reverbs and delays and such from the korg if it were mine.
