Hey hey fellow pit dwellers.

Quick question, what are your favourite intros for bass, guitar and drums. Intros that when you heard them, literally destroyed your brain.

Drums-13 steps to nowhere (pantera)
Guitar-head crusher (megadeth)
Bass-panic attack (dream theatre)

Nothing apart from one intro has ever made my head explode.

I remember listening to the début Slipknot album, the first "metal" CD I ever bought, the drums and guitar on the 2nd track Sic. blew me away and scared the crap out of me when I was 11

Guitar - All Along The Watchtower (Jimi Hendrix)

Do you mean the first few seconds or the solo?

Because I kind of like the part just before the solo more. And that's a lot of drums.

Anyway;

Drums/guitar: Reckoner - Radiohead. Starts with drums and then a very pretty little riff kicks in.

Everything: Where I End And You Begin - Radiohead. Mostly the e-bow and ondes mart with that pretty noise.
Everything: Hateful - The Clash

Harmonica: The harmonica blows in the intro of Sad Eyed Lady Of The Lowlands - Bob Dylan

Guitar: Avalanche by Leonard Cohen
Guitar: Carry On Up The Morning - Babyshambles
Guitar: London Calling - The Clash

Because Lee Kerslake is a masterful drummer, and any song Randy played on is gold.

Why are you doing that? That's not my opinion.

Post it yourself if you like it. There's a reason I posted Fur Elise instead.

And Over The Mountain is a terrible song.
