Hi guys I'm thinking about getting one of these http://www.glab.com.pl/true_bypass_wah-pad_en because I want to upgrade my Crybaby 95Q to a KH95 and I hate the switches.

My question is:

I currently attach my cry baby to my pedal board with cable ties because I hate using velcro. If I attach the True Bypass and KH95 using the same method will the pressure system still work or will it be rendered obsolete?

I've emailed both G Labs and the UK distributor with no reply.

Thanks

I would say that as long as you don't pull the ties too tight, just enough so that the rubber feet on the wah have permanent traction on the true bypass but not so much that it squeezes, although you may find its a very delicate balance to get.

Out of interest, why the dislike of velcro? It's clean, tidy and hidden (and therefore doesn't have the visual "ick" of cable ties holding things down :p)

All the velcro I've used has left a residue on the back of the pedals and has fallen off when lifted up.

Is there a better velcro to use? That is the main reason I didn't use it, it never held the pedals down firmly and selling on pedals after that was a ballache.

I would be tempted to go back to velcro if I could get them to stay in place.

get proper pedal board Velcro for a start

Is the stuff I use, if it leaves residue on the back of a pedal if you should ever decide to remove it, damp cloth and fairly liquid works wonders on adhesive residue. TBH I don't know if the rockbag stuff leaves residue, I just leave it on my pedals.

Oh, and just to make it simpler, the male one is the pokey bit (hooks) and the female the fuzzy bit (loops)
