Basically, I've got videos from my band's first show, and the douche that recorded the video gave them to me on a DVD in .mts file format. Anybody know how to change this file so I can watch it on my computer or upload it to youtube?

WHAT IS THE PIT!?!?!!!!!!?!??

I think Handbrake can convert .mts files.
Handbrake's been pretty good for any file converting.
I don't remember if it's good with DVDs though, you'll have to look that up.
Try to just rename the file to an avi, if you change an .mkv to .avi the video still works.

edit: ok so i just tried it and it works.
