A 1985 Marshall jcm800 Combo 4010 50w 1x12

How much with the original speaker/tubes

AND How much with non originals, just random replacements???

In good working order but with the expected road knocks and scrapes.

Thanks for your help.

Condition will play a huge part in the value of the amp.

Its in full working order with a couple of cosmetic dings and scrapes from age. the black covering of the amp has a tear or two, but thats just cosmetic stuff, as far as I know the amp works fine

For a combo you'll be looking at £300-£500 depending on condition.

does it matter wether the speakers and tubes are original or not? does that affect the price?

£300-350 if you want a quick sale.
£400 if you want a reasonable price.
£500 you may sell it if its in really good condition

Its up to your judgement realy.
Depends on the speaker...

With tubes you'll probably get more if you've retubed it recently considering the original tubes will almost have had it.

Thats fair enough. What kinda price is it at?

Not trieing to ninja or anything i have no money haha.

If its original tubes i'd be slightly worried since its over 20 years old and a tubes life time is like 1-3 years lol.

Thats an alright price probably on the higher range of the scale.. I'd try haggle down a bit.

do you know by any chance what it would cost to get a new speaker or some tubes for it?

Does it need a new speaker?
Is it blown out? Depends on what speaker you want

umm for tubes shouldnt be too much.
80 quid for the lot maybe? Depends where you go.. You might need to get a tech to fit if you dont know the ins and outs..

I dont know ins n outs either, the speaker works but i think its possibly a cheap replacement. I like the idea of getting it as close to the way it was in the 80's, so i'd like it to have the same model of speaker and tubes that marshall fitted it with as standard. If its at all possible??
