If you mean specific to a 5, I'm not sure, but beyond that, I find pop punk pretty fun to play. I never actually listen to it, otherwise, but it can be fun to play.

Songs like Basket Case, Dammit, the Hell Song, Song 2, stuff like that.

Without question, This.
I can only listen to so many breakdowns and "spoken word" vocals before I wanna puke.

I find Jennette McCurdy attractive, but Elizabeth Gillies and Debby Ryan much more so.

That's enough, Djent people. We get it.

Try Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd.
"Maybe this world is another planet's hell?" - Aldous Huxley

All I Want by A Day To Remember is pretty fun, pop metal, originally in Drop C but possible to play in Drop D.

If you're not comfortable doing that, then RHCP have some nice songs. Otherside is quite fun, easy, sort of tricky bridge part.

What's my age again by Blink 182 is great too.

If you want a challenge try Saint Veronika by Billy Talent, crazy bass part, but even just learning the verses is fun. This is Drop D by the way.

Have fun man.

Im not sure about 5 strings but I started learning bass primarily to Red Hot Chili Peppers. Their bass lines are always a lot of fun to play, even for me now, and help you learn how to improvise at the same.

Some of my favourites are: Bicycle Song, Wet Sand, Slow Cheetah, Charlie, and Californication. (keep in mind these aren't all easy songs but I find it's better to challenge yourself when you are learning - you get better faster)

It's played on 4 string bass, but the song is very funny

5 string basses are very nice, due to you don't have to tune your guitar many times, you can just use lower B string in most cases.

If you want to train your fingers on 5 string I can recommend you playing System of a Down songs, many of their songs are in Drop D, so just load tab to Guitar Pro, change in instruments list 4 string bass into 5 string bass and use transpose function (it will appear when you change tuning of guitar or number of strings).

I attached for you tab of Aerials (System of a Down) transposed to play on 5 string standard tuning.
In this song you use all 5 strings, so it's good start to play on 5 string basses

Personally I find alot of older Motown, Funk, Disco songs to be alot of fun to play... they all tend to have a pretty solid groove and they all seem to really get you and the listeners moving which is always fun. Not only that but they are catchy, so everyone will get it suck in your heads all day... which is awesome util it gets suck in your head
