I'll be moving into a house I am renting with four other college friends of mine. We need internet that will be able to handle constant usage by the five of us, Netflix, Xbox live, browsing, downloading ect..

What is the best company to go with? I live in Marietta, Ga if that makes a difference.

Best price for performance if we can. Thanks.

From looking at your location, I'd probably say Bright House, they're not the best ISP I've ever used in the country, but it's better than the alternative in your area.

Bright House doesn't serve Georgia.

Comcast isn't bad.

Although they have a monopoly in my area. As far as I know.

Also, their customer service is legendarily awful.

I was considering Comcast, they have a 20mb down rate for $60 a month, $30 for the first 6 months.

Does anybody have any experience with Clear home internet?

Best I've had so far is AT&T U-Verse. 24Mbps down / 3 Up

I've had horrible luck with Comcast...

We have Hughesnet. It's all we get out where I live.
I don't know how much we pay for it a month, but it's really fast and can stand the constant usage of 4+ people. We sometimes have up to 6 people using it at a time and it doesn't even get slow.

Isn't that satellite? I've been thinking about trying get them because I live in the middle of nowhere.

Yup, it's satellite.
But that's why we got them. We're out in the middle of nowhere too and it's the only high speed Internet we could get. It works really good though.

I may just being going with comcast, or AT&T U-Verse, if its in my area. They seem to have the best price for the speed.

I've got Suddenlink here. It survives Netflix, web browsing, PS3, phone calls with a MagicJack, iPods, and cell phones without the slightest bit of lag.

haha yah, kinda. cows are such hilarious creatures, they would be so worthless in nature. the totality of their existence is to taste good with A1 poured on them.

I dunno if RoadRunner services your area, but they are solid.
I've bought, sold, and traded more gear than I care to admit.
