inb4 cool story bro, but has anybody else gotten fat directly or indirectly because of guitar?

I have lost the weight but I started playing when I was 12 and steadily got fat. I loved it so much and never wanted to go outside

If anything it's made my arms stronger. 50 lbs. amps don't haul themselves up three flights of stairs.

Dude, I feel you I must have put on 15 pounds after I started playing ( a little over a year now).

I joined Cross Country in an attempt to get rid of it.

Nope. The only reason I've gained weight is because I'm a lazy bastard. But I'm not a fat ass like you, TS.

This. Hell, the reason I've started working out is just so I can carry my gear. My bass and pedal alone weigh about 30 lbs, not including my halfstack that doesn't have casters.

^gigazen, *reported.

Me? I gained weight because I was lazy and did nothing and ate badly. Now I just do close to nothing and eat well...ish.

We'll I've gained a lot of weight since I picked up guitar but i wouldn't consider myself fat yet. It's not because of guitar though. I need to work on my diet and exercise more.

Hahahaha... what's the correlation between the two??? Well, I've been playing guitar for a couple months, and I lost weight... You should change your guitar hahaha
