so there's this sweep for a song called I'm Alright that requires a lot of speed and most importantly accuracy.

now. when I sweep fast, my accuracy/timing drops down significantly (obvious).
here's the video.
(It's not even full speed, its only about 85% of the full speed..

let me know how i can improve, thanks!
it's really sloppy hah

Slow it dowwwwnnnn!

If you can't play it fast, then you're not ready to play it fast. You need to take a step back coz otherwise you'll teach yourself bad habits.

ugh..
its because this sweep is just.. freaking odd.

you start slow going down, and then speed up, and then go down slowly again, and then speed up, and again..

ive tried practicing a slower tempo's for a long time, and i still can't get the accuracy with the speed..
i can play it perfectly at a slower tempo, i just can't get any good results while playing fast, thats my problem.

Increase your speed in small increments until you get to your target.
Speed is a by-product of shut the fuck up.

Your timing is inconsistent and your technique is really sloppy. Sounds like some Herman Li defecate. Slow it wayyyy down and build up your speed and accuracy cleanly instead of stumbling all over yourself for 20 seconds.

Go for a week perfectly cleanly, speed up a few bpm, etc. This isn't a fast process.

^ that is true hah.
oh by the way, you might notice that my pick position is on the end of the fretboard, is that a wrong way of sweep picking?

i just do it up there because it gives off a better tone.
let me know if it's improper hah
