I've now have this riff in my head for like 2 weeks and don't know where it's from. The riff goes like this: :5555 5 3333 3 :1 0 1 0 1 0 1 3: On the low e or a string and it's played on a disted guitar at pretty medium tempo, also I think it's from a bridge. Any ideas? /thanks

What type of music? Heavy metal, 80's rock... It sounds like some hard rock I might've heard before, lol.

I'm not really sure, but something like that yeah.. I always confuse it with the bridge thing in Stairway, but that's not it (even though it's almost the same progression).

it could be Ziggy stardust by David bowie.

Yes! Man I can't believe I didn't figure that out. Anyways, thank you, now I have one less thing to think about!
