So I bought the new Bad Meets Evil album yesterday. If you didn't know, Bad Meets Evil is a rap duo with Eminem and Royce da 5'9". Anyways I noticed Eminem was back to his old themes of abusing women and rapping about drugs. There is this one song called I'm on Everything which is about drugs and his verse really makes it sound like he isn't sober anymore.

Here are the lyrics to his verses:

Painkillers, I call 'em 'caine pillars
Cause they’ll hold me up when I take ‘em
I need a cane and pillows, I’m on everything
Sick when I kick it, barf, me sobering up, fart
I crush ya brain like a pill crusher, let's crush a pill yeah
****, I think I just crushed my last Tylenol 3 up
Grab the key up off the counter till the camp all left the crib
Man, who'da knew that 3 in the morning I’d still be up
Could barely see up over the steering wheel, crashed the whip
Tore a tree up on my way to the dealer’s, tryna re-up
Call me Brett Favre, spell it F-A-V-R-E, yep
It’s wrong, other words I just ****ed my RV up
Bitch, it’s on again yeah, break that Klonopin in half
While I smoke some chronic in the cab with Donovan McNabb
And I dye my hair back blonde again and laugh
I’m the real macaroni you cheesy bitch, I’m demonic with the Kraft
There’s a devil in my noodle, you angel hair pasta
Flows dreaded like some ****ing tangled hair rastafarian, Jamaican
Relax man, I’ll send a ****ing axe at you if you insist on a ****ing accent
Bad and Evil is back with an epidural, check ya girl
Cause after we pop you up, we popping her up
So, baby, come put ya feet up in these stirrups
Your boyfriend better find another ****ing hornets nest to stir up
We rap like we’re on

Then I aimed to the front of the K-Mart shopping center with a coupon book
And a hundred and ten bucks and a bunch of change
And wife beater with a mustard stain
I’ll crush your brain like I’m crushing pills
What the ****’s the motha****in' deal?
This shit’s making me feel like
I’m tryna do a motha****in' cartwheel up a hill

Put this CD in and you’ll see, the sequel to Scary Movie
Bad is too evil, the roofie to Roethlisberger
(You are gonna wind up six feet deep under
That shit's creek so I hope that you want preservers)
You could put a turd on the plate
Silverware on the tablecloth to serve us
You don’t bring shit to the table
I mean your grill like a Seville when a mark gets murdered
You pushing the envelope and I’m shovin’ that whole post office further
Right off the surface, to the serpents in the darkest and the farthest corner

I’m the type that’ll take a bath with a *****
Drown her, bang her head on the passenger door
When I’m stashin’ her in the back, smacking
Her forehead on the dash and its accidentally blowin’, a Benz jeep horn

So does anybody know if he is back on drugs? (I hope he is, thats when he was at his best)

Don't be such a douche. There is a reason he sobered up, and good on him for doing so.
I hope this isn't true.

Him sober > Him producing 'good' music

muledit: Also, him recording a duo in which references to drug use are made =/= him being on drugs... You need more evidence to even make this worthy of discussion
RIP Gooze

Eminem wrote a song about taking pills? Well, he must be actually taking pills, then.

Just like that time he drove his pregnant girlfriend off a bridge. Oh no wait...

No it just suits those songs better, it's not an Eminem record, so obviously he's going to adapt his stuff to suit.

How sick is the album though
No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable

That album is ****ing sick, but I doubt he's on drugs, bro. Rapping about it =/= doing it.

he writes about made up stuff all the time. going back on drugs would just mess up his life - it wouldn't make him write another album as good as the Marshall Mathers LP.

But he was on drugs when he wrote the marshall mathers lp....

Therefore he must be on drugs now.

Oh then it must have been the drugs that wrote MM LP, not him. My bad.

Its more than likely he is rapping as his Slim Shady persona where he raps about all his darkest fantasies

Okay if he isn't back on drugs, is it at least safe to say he is back to being Slim Shady?

Driving down the I-75 about to hop on 696
I look over this ****ing chick's trying to fix her makeup
I'm like bitch, you ain't a plastic surgeon
I advise ya to put up your visor, I'm getting kinda ticked
You're blocking my side mirror, she's like yeah, so? I'm like so?
You gonna need a stitch you keep acting like that, ho
I look like your husband slut? That's a rhetorical question
You talk to me like you talk to him, I'll **** you up
In fact, get in the backseat
Like the rest of my dates, no bitch rides shotgun, what taxi?
Stop and pick you some Maxi Pads up is that what you actually ask me?
Bitch reaches over and smacks me
And says I annoy the **** outta her, get in the ****ing back
Put on your slut powder, you slut, what? Shut the **** up now
Or get your feelings hurt, worse than my last chick when
I accidentally butt dialed her
She heard me spreading AIDS rumors about her
Turn the radio up louder, make it thump
While I bump that Relapse CD, trying to hit every bump in that ****
Thought I snap back in that accent cause she kept asking me
To quit calling her ****, I said I ****, she said, Marshall

Only Slim Shady can write something like that.

Once agian, everyone taking Eminems songs, analyzing them, and then trying to come to conclusions about his personal life. I doubt Eminem does anything besides Marijuana, I read his book.

It said at some point that people are always surprised to hear he didnt start doing drugs until the Marshall Mathers LP, and never really heavily abused them. He said he talked a whole lot about drugs on the Slim Shady LP, and alot of the things on the Slim Shady LP were based on true events, but he had never actually taken any drugs at that period in time. It became very stressful for him touring after SSLP, because people thought he did drugs all the time, and ultimately, thats how he got into it.

The guy is a lyrical genius, he may not play guitar or anything but most certainly a big influence.

Jesus. That's what you should be worried about, that line is worse than anything drug addiction has done to anyone.

I read that too, but he meant he didn't do a lot of drugs at that time. If you kept reading how he came up with the blonde hair thing was when he was recording the SSLP him and royce did E and they went to a cvs or something and the next day he woke up with a half dyed head and dre thought it would be a good image tihng for him.

Eminem is an incredible rapper. He may not be as good as he used to be, but I dare any one of you to do what he does, as good or better.

If Eminem did everything he raps about I somewhat doubt he'd be a free man. He probably wrote those lyrics in his paisley pyjamas with a mug of Horlicks before turning in for the night at 8pm.

This.

He isn't back on drugs. This is just one of his "joke" or "humor" songs that you usually find on an Eminem CD ( e.g. "My Name Is" - The Slim Shady LP, "Ass Like That" - Encore, 85% of the songs on Relapse, etc.) and is usually hit or miss. In this case, this song is a miss. By far the worst song on the album and argueably the only bad song on the album.

Do yourself a favor and enjoy any of the other songs on this amazing album, especially "Welcome 2 Hell" and "A Kiss".

No he wasn't joking that was a serious song, and it is not the worst song on the album it's one of the best.

It wasn't EMINEM who drove his girlfriend off a bridge, it was his biggest fan who was obsessed with him, if we are to interpret this literally.

But he is probably not back on drugs, I'd say.

One and half pages of people did, until you showed up

OT: Just listen to Relapse if you want newer shady. Recovery was a damn good album, and showed he could write good songs while sober too. He's not a kid anymore, he's over 40 so you can't expect songs like on the MM EP. You just can't. Accept he's grown up, and listen to his old stuff if you want it.

He might be referring to the fact that you use 20 posts per page instead of 40.

I would point out what an arbitrary thing to insult someone over that is, but I use 40 ppp and it's a while since I've had any sensible reason to feel superior to anyone, so LOL YOU'RE A SHORTER PAGED SHIT
