I am not sure on the exact date, but we are pretty much there. Christmas is only what this year has been away... what do you think of that?
This will start a RIOT! in me

Half the year has gone and it feels like it's been 2 or 3 months. I hate my life.

The first time I heard that I thought "QOTSA rip off" about several of the songs. I know Homme produced it, but meh.

Devin Townsend Project puts out deconstruction and ghost tomorrow. Or you can just pirate them today and hear the brilliance

Erm... Are you thinking of Humbug? Homme had nothing to do with this except backing vocals on one song.

In 100 years we'll all be dead and UG wont exist. Think about that.

I was in HMV an I listened to what was on the speakers. It sounded very QUOTSA in the guitar work..I swear he said it was Arctic Monkeys...My memory may be playing ticks on me. My bad

We are already halfway through, aren't we? Wow.
I turned 19 just two days before 2011. It feels like i've only been 19 for a week.
Sometimes when people ask me how old I am I say "18... no wait, 19."

Just a little over 6 months and I won't be a teenager anymore
#17
Arctic Monkeys is indeed i believe the only brilliant album to be released yet, which was a pleasant surprise, but the later part of the year could prove to be good too.

Yay! I've been unemployed for exactly half a year.

It was most likely Humbug, Suck It and See has a few QOTSA sounding riffs but not many.

One song - Don't Sit Down Cause I've Moved Your Chair has a riff that's kinda stonery sounding, but apart from that, it's very far away from a QOTSA sound.

Jesus Christ, time is flying. I feel old, man.

I start college in less than two months. It doesn't seem like six months ago that I was only halfway through my senior year, or that a year ago I was a rising senior who was depressed because his older friends had all graduated.

The thing is that even though it doesn't feel like that much time has passed, I feel like a fundamentally differently person than I was a year ago.
He's a freak of nature, but we love him so.

Music isn't the Olympics. It's not about showing other people what you can do with a piece of wood in your hands that has strings on, it's about making sounds that are good.

I honestly don't know.
Since leaving college a year ago, I've lost all rational concept of time. Sometimes I feel like it's gone unnecessarily fast, sometimes I feel its really dragging.

I'm rather surprised at how quickly time flies. Seems like it was last week when I was walking through the O2 arena to see Thin Lizzy. That was January!

What about me? I seen Paramore back in early November with my friends and it feels like it was the other day...

Halloween's a pretty cool guy and he doesn't afraid of anything

EDIT: not listened to the Foo's one yet, but how could you not count Radiohead's King of Limbs?

Also, the Transformers soundtrack since it has the new Paramore song on it

I wouldn't really call any of those brilliant. The Antlers, Atmosphere, I&W and EITS were all very good, but not amazing. New Radiohead and Jesu were a little disappointing too and the new Bon Iver album was awful IMO.

Personally I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Opeth later this year.
