I have recently purchased a set of MHD Homewreckers and have had a nice chance to play around with them.

Neck pup
This is a very nice neck pickup. I really enjoy how bright and non muddy in the low end it is. When it is split it sounds amazing. This pup is almost P90ish with some girth.

Bridge pup
This pickup rules! I have this in my LP Studio and I am playing through my Marshall TSL. The one thing I always wanted was a little more mid range hump. Think early Alice in Chains. This pickup just totally nailed what I wanted. Not only does it sound great distorted but it sounds great clean. Then when it is split holy crap! Even more amazing tones!

Rayne winds an incredible pickup. If you are after some pickups that are incredibly versatile that sound awesome split, then MHD is the way to go!

Sound Clip

EDIT: FYI he is having a pickup sale that ends tonight. $90 for a set of handwound pups! http://www.mylespaul.com/forums/vendor-classifieds/145587-fathers-day-sale.html

I sold those a long time ago. I don't really care for much of Gibsons pickup line

HNPuD! I really liked the clip!

nice, they sound pretty good. as as you say, $90 for a set of handwound pickups is pretty good value.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
