I'm trying to adjust the springs on my new guitar's floyd rose...

but the back cover won't come out. I unscrewed it all and it's just... stuck.

Then get something thin enough to wedge between one of the sides and the guitar, and open it out?
Hey, look. Sigs are back.

I tried that and it didn't work :/

I ended up having to bash it over my knee to get it to pop out. Broke my heart.

they probably just put it on while the lacquer was still a little wet. happens to quite a few guitars. just get a spoon (or screwdriver if you're careful) and carefully go around the edge trying to lift it out and break the seal.

the duct tape thing sounds good too

Quick question. I'm looking into the back and there's only one spring... is it supposed to be like that?

I have two Jacksons with tremolo systems. One has two springs (stock), the other has 3 springs. I don't think it really matters as long as the spring can match the tension from the strings.
