So I'm playing a song that involves the G6 chord but I don't know what it is? And the person wrote it as a tab so you can't move your cursor over the chord to see it.
G6 would contain the notes G, B, D, and E. Are you looking for a guitar chord shape or can you figure that out from the notes?
G6 is a G major triad with an extra 6.
The G major scale is: G A B C D E F#, where G = 1, A = 2 ...
E = 6 etc. Gmaj = 1 3 5 or G B D. G6 = 1 3 5 6 or G B D E.
